All in A Days Work...

Today is Father's Day, and while it is not MY day.... I am enjoying the peace that Sundays bring into our home. We had a GREAT lesson today on the importance of attending the Temple and on the importance of teaching your family about it. It just brought me to tears because it made me think of my Utah family, especially my Emily(sister in law) and how she recently went thru and was sealed to her husband and children. I knew that eventually we would see her and James take that step but I also knew that it would mean that we would be closer to leaving them all. I spent some time reflecting on them today and how far they have come and it really does bring me to tears. I love them all and am so grateful for the technology that we have today in being able to text and talk with them weekly and sometimes daily. The Atlanta Temple will be closing on the 1st of July and while this is sad, it is also an opportunity for us to visit the other Temples that are near by. The next 15-18 months will be a time for us to teach our children about the importance of our Family being Forever, but it will hopefully draw us closer to our friends who are not of the same faith. It excites me to know that I will be able to bring my friends and especially my children to visit the Temple once it is re-opened(before it is re-dedicated) so that they can see for themselves that being able to go to the Temple and partake of the ordinances is something that Heavenly Father wants for ALL of us! I have overloaded you on the pictures I know.... but enjoy! As you can tell we have been busy traveling and we are looking forward to this Friday- my in-laws are coming in and we are taking them to Hilton Head for a whole week! We have a condo on the beach and we plan on doing NOTHING but Surfing and Sanding!!! Love and Hugs...

Things have been fun with my little one she is such a blast. You should call Kalani and see how she is doing, she just had a major surgery. Don't want to tell you what kind on the internet. Wow I could go on and on!!! I love looking at your pics you do such a good job posting so often.

Loved seeing all your cute pictures of your fun times in the sun. Enjoyed your journally too. I just want to give you all a big hug. Really liked the music playing on the blog today. Such a pretty arrangement of "I love to see the temple". I love all the Wallicks. I am excited for Pam and Jim getting to come out to enjoy your sweet family. Love you!

The Atlanta temple is closing? For how long? The Birmingham temple is about an hour and a half from here, I think. We are in Huntsville. (I left you a message on facebook too.) TO answer you question, yeah, I remember my mom and dad both not liking the cake fight too much. haha!
And yes, I got married a little over a year before Melissa did. I heard that her cake fight put ours to shame. hahaha!

I need to get your phone number so we can figure out a time to get together! You can email me from my blog or send me a message on facebook. :)

Have fun in Hilton Head!

Would you stop with all your vacation talk! Sheesh, stay home and do some chores for a change! :) That was brought to you by the little green monster in me. Sounds like you guys are having a blast, as usual. We do have impecable taste!! I sort of have an addiction to changing my background. Have fun at Hilton Head, isn't that the place where snooty patooty people vacation? :)

It looks like you guys had a ton of fun while Daddy was working. That must be so hard to go with him every where he goes.
Okay is it just me or is little Ms. Makenze growing up. I can't believe how big she looks. You need to tell her to stop. It is not fair how fast our little ones grow.
Give all the kids hugs and kisses. I miss them very much.

Hope you guys have fun with mom and dad. I know mom is really looking forward to spending that time with you guys. Wish we could come. Hopefully next year for Tay's baptism.

Sorry, Hilton head ain't gonna work this weekend.....a 10 hour car drive with JT is no good, and Benny boo has work stuff. We are going to be in Chattanooga for a week while Ben works and the kiddos and I play at the end of July, though--FINALLY we are exploring the area around us like the adventurous Wallicks!

I just want to hug you! I love your blog and the posts that you share. You have such a great personality and a strong testimony and I know that I am not the only one who misses you here in Utah. It is weird to drive by you house and realize that you don't live there anymore but I am sure that your new neighbors and ward members are thrilled to have you so I don't mind sharing!!!
Great pictures and a very important reminder of the blessings that come from the Temple.
Love you girl!

Hey...I'm so jealous, it looks like you guys are having a blast! Yeah I was thinking I'm almost 22 weeks but I look and feel about 30 weeks and I need to get myself to a session at the temple before I can't move anymore. LOL...anyway, glad to hear how things are going!

About Me

My photo
Adam and I have been married now for 14 years! To make a long story short- we met at the end of June, had our first date on July 4th, and were married on Sept 1, 1995. All I have to say, is "it was in his kiss." Adam is now a regional manager with Vita-mix. It has been a great blessing to have him here at home so that he can witness his children doing and saying all the fun things they do. We love where we live, but really do miss living close to both our parents and siblings. We have so much fun when we are all together and I am so lucky to have 4 fun loving wonderful sister in laws, lots of friends and 4 amazing BEST friends to hang out with. I know many of you will find this shocking but one of my best friends is my mother in law! I know that I can call on her at any time just to share a good laugh. She has given me the best thing a woman can give away- her son. I know- grab the tissue, I'll wait. Seriously- I love life and above all I am so grateful to know that MY FAMILY IS FOREVER!
