IT'S THE WAITING GAME- STILL!!!!

Yes- we are STILL waiting to hear when we are moving! The military has not given us a written contract yet, although they have given us a verbal agreement. We did go Altanta this past weekend to look at the area and homes. The house pictured is the one we chose to rent in the suburbs of the ATL. It is 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms - so there will still be plenty of room for all of us to fit into to. It is a brand new home, which really makes me happy because everyhouse we looked at that was nice on the outside was horrible on the inside!

I am so not looking forward to moving and having to deal with all the packing and unpacking! I promised myself that I would be really strong and really supportive when Adam got this job, so please dont make me get all emotional, just give me hugs and tell me we will see eachother soon.

Does this make sense? I just love living here and being around all of you and to think of moving so far is just so sad! So, lets all agree to say "God be with you till we meet again."-( One of my favorite hyms.)

What a pain to be in limbo, but your new house is awesome!! Can I come live there too? At least the weather in Atlanta is warm like St. George, just muggy. You better post as soon as you know something. I thought maybe you had dropped off the face of the earth!!

You have to try the cookies, or you will hate yourself every day until you do! I think that Zack needed a four-wheeling helmet, cause that's the only kind that would have protected his whole face. Of course I didn't say that to the doctors and nurses as I was being chastised for him not wearing one. But what do I know right? They're the ones with the expensive degrees!
We are going to Hawaii as in Matt and I. And his parents, sister and her hubby, brother and is hubby, two other brothers and a sister. This is our first time and we are stoked! We are going to Maui and I can't wait.

I am a 27 cow woman!!! Everyone is paying for themselves, but Matt's dad got the condos for everyone. Get this..... this is like the fourth year in a row they've gone!! For some reason we were invited this year though. Go figure. Our kids are sort of going lots of places for ten days. I wish they could all stay together and be home, but that just didn't work out.

You are a crack up!! I laughed quite hard at your comment on my blog. He did make me "twirl" around in the dress when he got home from work - but that was all. Very busy night - and family was here - and I HAVE ISSUES!! (you know what I'm talkin' about.) You can borrow it anytime, but you have to put your hair in the braids - it's the only way it really comes together and works. Ha Ha. Oh I hate to see you go - we were just starting to become best friends and I know you are still planning my surprise birthday party now, which we won't be able to have now. But I'm telling you if we ever fly into good ol' ATL I will HOLLA!!
And on a positive upbeat note - I have NEVER seen or known anyone that is 'truly' converted to the gospel as people in the south are. And I don't mean they are converts and all, I mean, they really are genuinely, caring people who also love and live the gospel. You will be welcomed and loved, especially more so because you guys are so likeable. And we have these great blogs to chit chat whenever we want. And here's my email: mofam4@gmail.com. Email whenever. Good Luck with everything, let me/us know if you need help with ANYTHING and don't forget to party with us before you leave!!

Wow...nice house! It will be so fun to move into another brand new house. But yea, other than that moving does suck. And goodbyes are worse. So I'm totally with ya....lets just keep in touch via blogs and know that we will all be friends for life. I just can't stand to say goodbye to everybody, especially you....cutie patuti!

Shannon, I understand completely. You're more than welcome to call me ANYTIME you need to talk to someone about adjusting to life on this side of the continental divide. And I understand about needing to be strong for your husband. So if you ever need an ear... Good luck and keep posting! Your new home is beautiful!

About Me

My photo
Adam and I have been married now for 14 years! To make a long story short- we met at the end of June, had our first date on July 4th, and were married on Sept 1, 1995. All I have to say, is "it was in his kiss." Adam is now a regional manager with Vita-mix. It has been a great blessing to have him here at home so that he can witness his children doing and saying all the fun things they do. We love where we live, but really do miss living close to both our parents and siblings. We have so much fun when we are all together and I am so lucky to have 4 fun loving wonderful sister in laws, lots of friends and 4 amazing BEST friends to hang out with. I know many of you will find this shocking but one of my best friends is my mother in law! I know that I can call on her at any time just to share a good laugh. She has given me the best thing a woman can give away- her son. I know- grab the tissue, I'll wait. Seriously- I love life and above all I am so grateful to know that MY FAMILY IS FOREVER!
