ICE ICE BABY!

Last night we went into the city and took the kids, along with three of Makenzie's friends to the outdoor ice skating rink! It was so MUCH fun and I was really impressed that even Parker himself had a wonderful time! Adam would take him around, and then drop him off to me and he would then take Taylor. I held Parker under his armpits while trying to keep my balance. It was so funny because he would shuffle his feet as fast as he could and he got so excited because he thought he was skating on his own! We hardly saw Makenzie because she was with her three friends. That worked out well because then Adam and I could trade off the two little ones and not worry about Makenzie feeling left out. By the end of the night Taylor finally had let go of the wall and was really making an effort to skate. Of course, Adam is good at everything so he was skating around like a hockey player! Me, myself, I haven't had a pair of ice skates on in about 30 years, but I didn't fall once! It was a fun night- it wasn't very cold, and every one had a blast! After skating for almost 2 hours, we took a walk thru the park, and then ended the night by taking everyone to T-bell! Love and Hugs-

You guys have so much fun. I love it. The ice skating sounded really fun. I tried ice skating on a home made outdoor "rink" at Pam and Jim's about a hundred years ago in Smithfield, UT. I could not even do it. The ice was all full of bumps. I think I ended up being pregnant and thought maybe that is why I couldn't handle it. I can ice skate on a "real" rink.

How fun!! The city looks beautiful. Ashlyn was just telling me that she wants to take ice skating lessons.
And yes, you can blurp your slurp, lol....actually you can make a real book filled with your blog entries and pictures. It wasn't too expensive with blurb.com. Too bad they are shutting us out ;)
Happy New Year!!!

Lost some weight? Yeah, right! More like gained a plethera of weight from doing nothing but eating all holiday break long, dang depression. I guess it's true - black is a slimming color. Someone at the store the other day said I looked good and asked if I was doing anything. Yeah right, I said. Infact, I'm so irritated by my chunkiness that I signed D and I up for a fitness class together. That way, we HAVE to do it. WOO HOO. Weight loss, here I come.
So, how's good old Georgia? I want to make a trip out there so bad. Not sure when or how we would pull that one off. D started the Nursing Program today, our life is finally going somewhere - it feels great. Looks like you guys just fit right in there, glad to see it. But wish you were here to party with us. Okay, gotta run. I, myself, am attending school this semester, gotta to get on top of all that, can't fall behind. Chat lata' playa'. (p.s. yeah the ward split, kinda a bummer, but it's life, roll with the punches.)

I have never ice skated since I have lived in Southern Utah for 22 years and Southern California before that. I am sure I would fall flat on my back if I tried.

How fun! Sounds like you guys had a blast. I've been ice skating a couple of times in my life...not good at it at all. :P

And yes, we are moving...somewhere. haha :) The small business thing is for the birds in this crazy economy so Pat's been looking to get back into the corporate scene. He has some strong leads in Jacksonville, FL so we may end up close to you guys! We'll see!!!

About Me

My photo
Adam and I have been married now for 14 years! To make a long story short- we met at the end of June, had our first date on July 4th, and were married on Sept 1, 1995. All I have to say, is "it was in his kiss." Adam is now a regional manager with Vita-mix. It has been a great blessing to have him here at home so that he can witness his children doing and saying all the fun things they do. We love where we live, but really do miss living close to both our parents and siblings. We have so much fun when we are all together and I am so lucky to have 4 fun loving wonderful sister in laws, lots of friends and 4 amazing BEST friends to hang out with. I know many of you will find this shocking but one of my best friends is my mother in law! I know that I can call on her at any time just to share a good laugh. She has given me the best thing a woman can give away- her son. I know- grab the tissue, I'll wait. Seriously- I love life and above all I am so grateful to know that MY FAMILY IS FOREVER!
